A deal worth of 100 million yuan will be inked between Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. (Xiamen King Long) and Saudi Public Transport Co. (SAPTCO) on July 28th, making Xiamen King Long the first Chinese car supplier for SAPTCO in Saudi Arabia, reports Xiamen Daily.

The deal includes 150 12-meter-long luxury King Long buses, which are expected to hit the road in Saudi Arabia this September.

Since Xiamen King Long targeted Saudi Arabia as a key overseas market in 2004, over 1,200 King Long buses have been exported there.

According to Mr. Zhu Guoqiang, deputy general manager of Xiamen King Long, the deal with Saudi Arabia’s largest public bus transport service supplier SAPTCO will secure Xiamen King Long’s influence in Saudi Arabia.
