Abstract
US demand to grow 3% per annum through 2009
Demand for golf course consumables is forecast to increase three percent per year through 2009. The golf course industry has undergone several years of weak performance in terms of rounds played, greens revenue generated and new course development. This performance has translated into relatively modest growth for golf course consumables through lower grounds maintenance budgets.
This study provides historical data plus forecasts to 2009 and 2014 for demand by type of consumable and by regional US market. The study also details applica-tions and utilization factors, presents market share and profiles 30 industry players.
