摘要
The aim of the symposium was to inform participants about new markets and opportunities for the modern textiles industry, to look at ways to build competitive advantage in technical textiles, as well as to give in-depth information about entering the medical textiles and smart textiles markets.
The CD contains all presentations of the lecturers plus audio files of the workshop sessions, over 2 1/2 hours of expert discussion sessions and analysis of specific and general discussion of the technical textiles industry. It is a truly unique package of information about the current state and future prospects of this industry.
The Chairman of the meeting was Professor Roshan Shishoo. Speakers included representatives from Messe Frankfurt, IFAI, Huntsman, SGS, W.L. Gore & Associates, Dow Corning, Hohenstein Institutes, Nanotex and Softswitch/Peratech.
