Ericsson is the acknowledged market leader in network infrastructure, due primarily to the strength of its mobile offering. As its telco customers aim to deliver triple- and quad-play portfolios, Ericsson has restructured to focus on multimedia requirements and plugged gaps in its portfolio with acquisitions.
Ericsson’s Global Services business unit supports integrated and converged systems across the network and IT space and now accounts for one third of Ericsson’s revenues.
