摘要

Slovenia has a small but sophisticated mobile market, served by three mobile network operators and a number of MVNOs. One of the first to launch 3G and MVNO operations in the region, competitive market conditions resulted in the smallest mobile network operator ceasing operations, with its assets taken over by an alternative operator and services relaunched. A competing 3G services ahs been launched and HSDPA services are also available. This report provides statistics and research on the Slovenian mobile market in 2008, including an assessment of regulatory issues, a profile of the major service providers, and an overview of mobile data services such as SMS, MMS, GPRS, PTT, EDGE, Blackberry, mobile TV and mobile content and applications.
