What was simply known as the local call market a few years ago has developed into the most prized telecommunications market for local access and services. The market is still 90% dominated by the incumbent. This report provides call statistics including number of fixed access lines, telephone call spend per product and voice revenues. An overview and analysis of the latest trends in the local access market are provided as well overviews of a number of market surveys by the ACCC and ACMA.
