摘要

Four mobile network operators currently serve Poland’s mobile market, one of the largest in Europe. All four offer 3G services, with the smallest of the four launching services in early 2007 and offering 3G services only. A tender for the country’s fourth GSM licence was concluded in October 2007, with the winner planning to launch services by 2009. MVNO services have been launched by a bank while a number of other parties, including a satellite pay TV operator, also plan to launch services. This report provides a concise overview of Poland’s mobile market, providing profiles of the major operators, covering regulatory and market developments and offering a wealth of statistics.
