Japan manmade fibre production and consumption have seen a gradual decline over time. Between 2000 and 2006 production declined 6% per annum totaling 915 thousand tons. The 揥orld Fibre & Japan ?Trends in Demand and Supply?a compendium from YarnsandFibers presenting the demand and supply trends in Japan indicates that Japan is still stronger in acrylic fibres.
This attempt to place in perspective, the trends witnessed in manmade fibres since 1990 with regards to production, consumption and trade. The presentation is made through descriptive analysis of the trends and changes in fibre industry with detailed tabulation in various permutation and combinations and graphical presentation. The purpose of this compendium is to serve as a basic information infrastructure for textile companies and to all those who are related to fibres and yarns industry. The compendium will also serve as a ready to use reference and the presentation help easy and quick consumption of the information.
