Abstract
Founded in 1974, Changji Special Transformer Factory was a collective enterprise, the former of Tebian Electric, which was specialized in special transformers and switch manufacturing and repairing. The senior administration of Tebian Electric has acquired the management of the factory successfully via the control of the 1st largest and 2nd largest shareholders.
The transformer sales revenue of the company was more than RMb 3.9 billion in 2006. Through acquisition and merger, the transformer production capacity of the company expanded by 100 times, and the sales revenue rose 69 times. In addition, the wire and cable sales revenue surpassed RMB 1.5 billion, realizing leap development.
After the acquisition of Hengbian and Shenbian, the company input a large number of capitals to reform their technologies. Relying on the traditional advantages of Shenbian, it strived to transform to ultra high pressure and large-capacity transformer manufacturer in strategy. Currently, the company has taken up more than 20% shares of domestic high-end large-capacity transformer market and becomes a leading transformer enterprise in China.
